Hi Guys! I’m sure you all have heard about the Auvi-Q Recall. Here are some tips I learned about the recall situation to hopefully make this less confusing for you all!
CALL YOUR PHARMACIST The Auvi-Q website has details on the lot numbers involved in the recall. However, if you are unsure or confused, call your pharmacist. Have your Auvi-Qs handy so you can give them the information they ask for.
ALL AUVI-Qs This is NOT just a recall for the adult Auvi-Qs. Both Junior and Adult Auvi-Qs are affected.
DO NOT THROW AWAY YOUR AUVI-Qs Why? The Auvi-Qs will either be replaced for no cost or you will be given a coupon for the next time you order one due to the mishap. If you have your proof of purchase they will refund your money.
GET OUT YOUR EPI-PENS Back to the basics. We know that they are slightly more cumbersome to carry, but carry your epi-pens. Please, please do not walk around without any medicine just because it won’t fit into your fashion forward handbag anymore… and don’t worry you just have to carry them around for a little while 🙂
